St. Johns Town Center
Many of the world’s most charming cities boast famous esplanades. In Paris, they are part of the attraction of the 7th Arrondissement, rivaled only by the Eiffel Tower. In the Mediterranean, Alicante’s broad esplanades draw visitors to the Costa Blanca. And in Brazil, people-watching is the principal charm of the legendary esplanades of Ipanema.
Here in North Florida, our newest “esplanade” is an easy link to the area’s most sought-after shopping and dining establishments inside the St. Johns Town Center— the new 207-acre, open-air shopping mall, designed with a “Main Street” feel. The center itself, located off Gate Parkway north of J. Turner Butler Boulevard, has 15 miles of sidewalks meandering through a variety of some of the nation’s most exciting restaurants and retailers.
